Immortal Prince Halftime Performance

Click to enlarge.The Super Bowl halftime show is generally over-rated and uneventful, well except maybe for the wardrobe malfunction, but Super Bowl XLI was an exception. Prince came out in full splendor in the rain and lit it up. The lightning was incredible at the beginning. Neither the rain nor the wind could keep Prince from exploding into one of the greatest halftime performances ever!
His guitar screamed in full rock fury as only a macho man could do. Some may question Prince's machismo but can you say Apollonia? Shit she was hot!
Our favorite moment was when Prince ripped into "All Along the Watchtower" in such a way that Hendrix himself would have totally approved. From there Prince cranked out "Best of You" by the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl should be honored.
Given the weather, Prince's finally was totally appropriate - "Purple Rain". A sheet came up, and when lit from behind, Prince's shadow was larger than life while he tore through his guitar solo. Prince is a real man and should be fully applauded and lauded for his outstanding Super Bowl XLI halftime performance.

Was I the only person wondering if someone was going to get electrocuted on stage due to the rain? All of a sudden Prince bursting into flame from a short circuit in his guitar! LOL. I was also waiting to see if any of his dancing chicks would take a tumble. Just thinking out loud...
