Macho Men Live Longer
Men with low testosterone levels after age 40 have a higher risk of death over a four-year period than those with greater levels of the hormone. This is the conclusion of a study detailed in the Archives of Internal Medicine. and published on Livescience.com. Be macho....live longer!!
Highlights of the findings include:
- Hairy chests increase life expectancy by 20%
- Low levels of testosterone can cause decreased muscle mass and bone density, insulin resistance, decreased sex drive, reduced energy, irritability and feelings of depression
- Large testes increase life expectancy by 22% and the chance of getting laid by 63%
- Wimpy males live a 18% fewer years than macho males and have 44% chance of getting their ass kicked
